About Ciriaco

Despite being born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Ashley Ciriaco always held New York City close to her heart. Having close familial ties in The Bronx the 25-year-old would frequently visit The Bronx as a child, taking in the sights and sounds. The rising design talent watched Sex and the City with her mother when she was a child, and knew she wanted to live in New York City one day. Her weekend trips to the city eventually turned into a permanent move to the city.

In addition to inspiring Ashley's relocation to the fast-paced city, the classic early 2000's series helped shape and shift her unparalleled approach to fashion as well as her sense of style. In CIRIACO handbags, vibrant shades splashed across asymmetric silhouettes were inspired by the show's eclectic wardrobe which featured dazzling and dynamic designs. In 2017, the multifaceted artist enrolled in Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan as a fashion merchandising major after growing up watching the iconic series and other shows centered on fashion, such as the CW's Gossip Girl.

The formidable designer created the blueprint for CIRIACO during her time at Berkeley College, despite its highs and lows. As Ashley worked between classes and shifts, she developed her fashion brand's asymmetrical silhouettes, rich textures, prints, and bright hues, developing the foundation for her asymmetrical silhouettes and dynamic prints. Over the course of the past few years, she developed her unique design process, which culminated with the release in 2020 of the first CIRIACO handbag.
